Sales Manager
What you want to do
We’re hiring Sales Managers across the U.S. (Northeast, Midwest, South, and West) to lead the complete sales process—from self-prospecting to closing new business. At Setlog, you’ll expand our customer base in a specified region or industry, building lasting relationships with senior supply chain executives.
This role is ideal for a self-driven team player with strong negotiation skills, able to understand and address clients’ supply chain challenges. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales Development to ensure a smooth sales cycle and achieve shared goals.
What You will be responsible for
- Becoming an encyclopedia of knowledge for how Setlog works, the problems we are solving, and the benefits we bring to our customers
- Drive active sales cycles while building new business pipeline through prospecting and relationship building with potential customers.
- Develop detailed sales plans and sales forecasts and consistently meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Manage a large portfolio of accounts.
- Travel to meet with clients, prospects, and partners.
- Summarize product feedback gathered from customer meetings and act as advocate for our customers with internal development and product teams.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of experience in a full cycle (prospecting to closing), quota carrying B2B software sales role.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain technology sales.
- Experience in navigating accounts and conducting detailed account plans. Ability to sell across multiple lines of business simultaneously (IT, Sourcing, Transportation, Supply Chain/Logistics).
- Achievement-driven (performance-focused) with strong organizational skills (daily and weekly planning).
- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, writing) and the ability to adapt the approach and conversation according to the persona, culture, and company of the prospect.
- Ability to understand C-level strategies and formulate and present value propositions according to them.
